Crock Pot Roasted Chicken

Who loves Roasted Chicken?! MEEE!!! I love having a whole chicken to carve for lunch or dinner! We normally purchase them already cooked, but over the last year we have been purchasing whole chickens when they go on sale. I've been playing with the spices, and well, ladies and gentlemen I have done it! I have a FABULOUS rub for your whole chicken that you will LOVE! We even use this rub on our baked chicken breasts! It's WONDERFUL! This is sure to please ANY pallet!

Grease your crock pot with cooking spray and place your thawed whole chicken inside.

Mix these spices in a bowl:

Roasted Chicken Rub
4 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Onion Salt
1 tsp. Thyme
1 tsp. Garlic Powder

*optional - 1 tsp. Pepper

Mix well and rub all over the chicken

Cook about 4 hours on high or when your meat thermometer reaches about 165 - 175 or when cut into, no pink shows and liquid is clear.
