This Oreo Poke Cake is my new favorite chocolate cake. Seriously AMAZING! Oreos baked into the cake, then chocolate syrup drizzled inside, topped with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs - it's SO EASY and SCRUMPTIOUS!
More words would only taint this cake, so I'll end there, the pictures speak for themselves. ;)
It's Yelling "MAKE ME!"
Oreo Poke Cake
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 pkg Oreo cookies
Chocolate Syrup
1 container Whipped Cream
In a mixing bowl, make chocolate cake according to box directions.
Open the oreo package and break (don't crumble, you want CHUNKS) 2 "sleeves" of oreos. (The container has 3 sections of oreos 2 go into the cake and reserved section is for the top.)
Fold the broken Oreo pieces into the batter.
Place the batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Cook according to cake mix box (about 30-35 minutes).
When done, allow to cool for 15 minutes.
Take a wooden spoon and using the handle - poke holes all through your cake.
Take the chocolate syrup and squirt syrup into the holes.
"Frost" the cake with the whipped cream.
Take the reserved Oreos and scrape out the filling. Blend the cookies into a powder. Sprinkle the Oreo powder over top of the whipped cream.
DELISH!
