I am so tired of "healthy" shakes being yucky. I was determined to make a shake that was healthy AND delicious. So, I am pleased to inform you ladies and gentlemen, I HAVE DONE IT! This Very Berry Oatmeal Shake was my lunch the other day and I was full until dinner! Add a scoop of protein powder and I'm sure if would stay with you much longer. Make it your own by changing it up and adding some of your favorites. Check it out.
In a blender place:
1 Peeled Banana
1 c. Milk (Almond or Soy milk can be used)
1/4 - 1/2 c. Oats - (depends on how thick you want it)
1 c. Frozen Berries (I used Strawberries and Blueberries)
1/2 Green Apple - cored
Blend until smooth.
* To make it even sweeter use a ripe banana
* To make it more Velvety and have an Ice Cream texture, freeze your banana
